The Center of Studies and Research about Corruption (CEPC) has the purpose of develop studies and research, in the multidisciplinary field, to aid the comprehension of the multiple aspects of the corruption phenomenon. The center will be guided by the fundamental principles of the Brazilian public management: Transparency and Public Integrity.

Transparency refers to unrestricted access by the public to timely and reliable information about the decisions and performance of the public sector; and Public Integrity relates to the institutional framework for the promotion of probity and combating corruption in the public sector.

It is intended via CEPC perform diagnostics and propose interventions in vulnerable areas of public administration, specifically with respect to the mechanisms to combat corruption, domestically and internationally.
